Easy peanut butter snacks are my jam. ha! Peanut butter is such a great source of protein and as America knows, pairs extremely well with jelly or jam AND bananas. I decided to throw it all together on top of a pizza crust, because of course, pizza is popular with kids, especially! My kids loved this peanut butter and jelly pizza with banana and coconut!
This peanut butter and jelly pizza with bananas and coconut recipe can be customized however you like it. Blueberries instead of bananas? Sure! Chocolate chips or cacao nibs? YES! A sprinkle of cinnamon? Go ahead! Anything and everything goes because it’s your snack! And a great idea is to have a peanut butter and jelly pizza bar for kids to make their own pizzas!
We have three sons and they all have different tastes. Our oldest LOVES peanut butter and grape jelly. Our middle son, too, loves peanut butter and grape jelly on sandwiches, but he also loves strawberry jelly, like my husband. The youngest one was actually allergic to peanut butter for years before growing out of it at age 5, and he doesn’t like peanut butter at all. He sometimes will have jelly sandwiches, but that’s not often. (sidenote: peanut allergies are a huge thing and shouldn’t be glossed over. Our oldest is still allergic to some tree nuts and we are cautious with this and always have been. Thank goodness for Epi-Pens!)
